MegLIFE is a 10-year initiative by the Government of Meghalaya, implemented by Meghalaya BasinDevelopment Authority (MBDA) and funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). It focuses on restoring natural resources, promoting sustainable forest management, and improvingrural livelihoods across 500 villages in 12 districts, while strengthening community institutions for longterm resilience.
